I have a ProLiant BL460c G7 in BladeSystem c7000 Enclosure G2. As well as HP StorageWorks 8/24 San Switch. The server is Windows Server 2008 and HPP600 Command View Software. The problem is that I cannot connect to EVA. (No storage systems are visible from this instance ....) How to understand what is wrong?

EVA 8400 show warning symbol and Condition status is Populated ( Data Disk )
Dear All,
recently i'm facing problem with EVA8400, currently this is my first experience with EVA8400 unit..
I look warning symbol at enclosure 13 and Bay 1. and i look status condition operational state is Populated ( Data disk) with warning symbol . Please see attachment.
What the meaning of this, and what can i do to resolved it .

eva4400 doesn't see vdisk and group disk
Hello everyone,
I need your help, I have an EVA4400 storage system which one of the batteries is defective, I had replaced this battery with a new one that did not work. after a reboot of the system, I can not find the old configuration: no group disk or vdisk.
the system is in uninitialized mode.
after a series of tentacles to restart, nothing has changed

Hi!
EVA 4400, on battery module 2, green (1) and amber (2) indicators flash simultaneously.
In CV:
System: Good
Controller 1: Good
Controller 2: Good
In Controller Enclosure - Power:
Cache battery 2
Controller: Controller 1
Operational state: Attention
Hold-up time: 130 hours
Cache Battery 1
Controller: Controller 2
Operational state: Good
Hold-up time: 195 hours
What can we do with this ?

Storage EVA 4400 Populated (data disk) Problem and One Loop Connection Lost
Hello,
First of all, thank you for taking your time reading this new topic,.
I have a problem with the Storage EVA 4400, I can see that several disks have the messages indicating that the state is "Populated (data disk) and when I try to the the tab Disk Drive, the system cannot show me any information.
There are more than 1 disk with the same issue and it seems that the disk itself is not the problem but the Controller.
The Controller has a Warning on the Device Ports in Loop Pair 1 - DP1B, system says Failed, I think that this would be causing the issue in the drives but I do not know how to resolve it, it is not clear if I have to replace a SFP or the complete Module.
Could someone help me with this issue? I will upload a few screenshots where the Warning appears,

P6000 don't detect EVA storage 8400
For IRS issue, I have installed Cv P6000 in vm , OS- windows 2008 R2 enterprise. (Host is HP proliant server, ESXi 6). I can log in by P6000 but there is no storage shown. (pls check- attached image).
Already P6000 is installed in EVA management server and can log in and find storage from here.
So suggest how to discover/find storage EVA from vm.

EVA400 to 3PAR8400 licensing question
I just got a new 3par 84oo that's licensed for online import.
My EVA 4400 is running CommandView 10.1.0.120411 that doesn't have the utility to do the data migration from the EVS to the 3Par.
I've downloaded the CommandView P6000 10.3 from the HPE site.
Question:
As I'm no longer under support can I install this without a license key of some sort?
I see theres a 60-day that apperently expires

hp ux server unable to identify vg disks from san array
This system has been up and running till we had a power outage, after the power outage we had a linux server not come back because of an fsck required rel5. Upon further investigation we have three other servers hpux that booted but could not see the vg groups off the san array. I have ran ioscan -fnCdisk, it picks up the two local drives but nothing off the san array. The san switch seems to be fine and right now I am at a loss. any help would be greatly appreciated. Dont know much on the san arrays, but it appears that the array for some reason is not extending the virtual disks out to the network?
